You are welcome to bring your baby along with you to my beautiful consulting rooms or come alone if you prefer, but for children over 5 years old, it is usually best that they are present and involved in the consultation.
As with the Online Private Consultation and Support Package, this option includes an extremely generous amount of follow-up support.
Tailored for babies over 6 months, toddlers, children, and teens, it's particularly suitable for school-aged children facing sleep challenges, such as anxiety about falling asleep alone, falling asleep too late, or being awake all night.
During the one-hour consultation, we look at all aspects of your child's sleep, including [for babies] daytime naps, feeding and health concerns.
With older children, we particularly look at their daytime and evening activities, diet, sleep environment and feelings about sleep.
I advise you on how to manage and improve your child’s sleep and if your child is old enough, I give them some guidance and exercises of their own, to help them relax, reduce any anxiety and improve their sleep.
Following the consultation, you'll receive a carefully thought-out sleep plan designed specifically for your child's needs. If your child is of reading age, they will receive an age-appropriate plan of their own.
You then have four weeks of ongoing support, including two support and review telephone or Zoom calls of up to 30 minutes weekly, and unlimited email support [weekdays] throughout the follow-up period.
